Digital art¹⁰¹

This work comes first in the section for a reason: it is about how I see contemporary art. The image has become a number, and the work of art a sign you can click and swap for another, like a billboard.

Some art has become simpler: increasingly, it serves self-promotion rather than expressing an idea, and telling the real thing from a fake has become harder. Switching to my portrait is a reminder that behind any work, however widely reproduced, there is the person who made it.
